Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse Recipe

You will need:

200ml of filtered or natural spring water

1 mint tea bag

1g (approx 4 drops) of Rosemary oil

1 or 2 tbsp pf Apple Cider Vinegar (depending on hair type)

Boil the water and pour over the mint tea bag. Leave to infuse for ten minutes, then remove the tea bag. (You can infuse additional dried herbs along with the tea as you wish. Sage, Rosemary & Nettle are all good choices for the hair - strain afterwards.)

Add the Rosemary Oil

Add the Apple Cider Vinegar (1 tbsp for dry hair 2 for more oily hair)

Allow to cool. Decant into a reusable squeezy bottle.

Once you have washed your hair shake the bottle well and pour 1/2 the mixture over your hair making sure not to get it into your eyes. Rinse well until the scent of the vinegar is faint and your hair feels clean and fresh. Dry and style as normal. Store in a cool dry place and use the rest of the batch after a week or fortnight depending on your hair type.

This is particularly good for dry flaky scalps. The Apple Cider Vinegar in the rinse removes any build-up and residue from the hair. Some hair will hold onto minerals from the water, or ingredients from the shampoo and can become dull or the scalp itchy.
